Climate change is one of the most
serious environmental issues facing all
countries including India. Even as experts
predict that the temperature will rise up 1.5 to 2
degree celsius in the country by 2030,
Himalayan Mountain states including Manipur
are vulnerable geographical spots which could
be negatively impacted by climate change.
Indeed, if we pause for a moment and
anaylse the changes in temperature and rainfall
patterns in our region including in our tiny
state, Manipur, over the last few decades, it
becomes clear that climate change is happening.
