Environmental Planning and Management of Wetlands and Waterbodies

Environmental Management Planning may become a tool to assess and manage environmental issues during every phase of project implementation or operations. The outcome will minimize the risk of costly, time-consuming environmental issues at the same time maximizing productivity, bottom-line performance etc. Main aim of the scheme is the identification of:

  • Environmental sensitive zones/greeneries using RS & GIS
  • Issues concerning the structural modification of the town like change in land use pattern and its impact,
  • Road connectivity and city infrastructure for reducing traffic volume and  promotion of green city concept
  • Sustainable livelihood and ecosystem services
  • To asses and manage environmental issues during every phase of implementation or operations of developmental programmes / projects
  • Preparation of State of Environment Report of the State
  • Collection of district environment reports
